Viewing Women and the Bible: A Jewish Perspective

The Council for Australian Catholic Women (Perth) invite women to join us and Rabbi Sheryl Nosan to “re-view” women and the Bible.The roles of women in the scriptures are varied and complex and include women as challengers, change agents, and as inspiration for those working towards greater understanding and equality of ministry.
Wednesday 21 August 2019, 6-9pm in the Staff Room Trinity College, 2 Trinity Ave, Perth.
Light refreshments will be served from 6.00-6.30pm.
Parking is available and the Red & Yellow CAT buses travel to Hale Street.

STEM After School Programs

STEM After School Programs conducted at Murdoch University’s South Street campus allows students from as young as 10 years old to explore and extend their interest in Maths, Chemistry and Physics. For more, click here.

Creative Kids Art Club Term 3 Program

This semester, two classes are being run in Doubleview at the West Stirling Neighbourhood House. The two classes being run are for 5-8yrs on Wednesdays at 3.45pm and the other for 9-14yrs on Wednesdays, beginning 29 July. All classes are run by qualified and experienced art teachers.

Learn to draw using pencil, oil pastel, pencil, markers, pastels and paint. Set up a drawing journal to record your ideas. Study works by professional artists and try out their techniques. Investigate colour, texture and composition through four different creative projects. Be inspired to develop your own ideas and create. Suitable for ages 5-14yrs.

VacSwim October 2019

You can now enrol your children in VacSwim swimming lessons for the October school holidays.

With swimming pools and beaches a big part of the Western Australian lifestyle, it’s important your children are safe in the water.

Programs are available for children from five to 17 years and cater to all skill levels – from beginners to those doing their Bronze Medallion. They are being offered at pool venues across the State.

Newman Knights Hockey Club

Subiaco Marist Cricket Club

Welcome to the 2019/20 Subiaco Marist Cricket Club cricket season! We field teams for girls and boys aged from 5 – 17, and always keen to welcome new players.

Our introductory Cricket Blasters programs are for kids new to cricket, teaching them the basics of cricket in a fun, safe and interactive way. Held at Newman College 5pm Fridays.

We also have teams in each year level from under 10 to under 17, where young cricketers can develop their skills and enjoyment of the game, with mid-week training and games on Saturday or Sunday (depending on grade).

The season starts in October and registrations are open now. Please register at: (Registrations close Sept 4 for under 10-17, and Oct 12 or earlier if the program is at capacity for Cricket Blasters).

For any inquiries, to try on uniform sizes (junior cricket) and maybe meet a Perth Scorcher please come to our launch day on Wednesday 21st August 3.30pm to 5.30pm in the Newman College sports complex.
