Keyed Up Music will be teaching keyboard, guitar, voice and drum lessons next year during school.

Home for Christmas

From 1 to 31 December 2020, the City is celebrating the festive season with FREE events, kids craft workshops, roving musical performances, augmented reality, large scale decorations, window decorations and a very special visit from Summer Santa and friends!

Donate to the SWC Christmas Appeal

The Stirling Women’s Centre Christmas Appeal is back to help make the festive season a brighter one for local families in crisis. This year, the appeal is calling for donations including toys, gift vouchers, toiletries, beauty packs and books.
Unwrapped gifts can be placed at local collection points including the City’s Administration Centre and at all six City libraries until Friday 18 December 2020. For more information click on the LINK

Charity Clothing Drop off Day is back

Time for a last minute spring clean? Bring along your unwanted clothing, textiles, shoes, towels, bedding, games, DVDs, CDs, books and toys to the City’s upcoming Charity Clothing Drop-off Day.

Date: Saturday 5 December
Time: 9.00am to 3.00pm
Venue: City of Stirling Administration Centre carpark, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling

Your donated items will support a group of local charities and help reduce landfill.

Scarboro Surf Life Saving Starfish Nippers

The Scarborough Surf Life Saving Club is running a the Starfish Nipper Program beginning in January 2021, this program is a specialised program which caters for children with special needs. The aim of the program is create a more inclusive community which provides children with special needs the opportunity to participate in Surf Life Saving.

Artside the Square – Art Workshops for Children with Dyslexia

The Mo, Evie and Otis Maslin Foundation, together with the Dyslexia-SPELD Foundation (DSF) are providing opportunities for
children with learning difficulties to create artworks as part of a series of events in Dyslexia Awareness Week 2020.

Students in years 3 to 6 with a learning difficulty (including dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia) are invited to take part.
Participants will be given the opportunity to create a piece of art based on finding their “inner strength hero”.
Participants will receive their framed artwork following the workshop. Please see flyer attached for more details.
