On Sunday 29 August, our Year Four ‘s celebrated their First Holy Communion

The Year Two students picked the spinach from our school veggie patch and made spinach and cheese tarts.  Mrs Harney and Mrs Menchetti kindly helped out in the kitchen. We shared our tarts with our Year Four Buddies and Year Sixes.

They had so much fun harvesting, making and eating the tarts.

The Year 4 class recently went on an exciting excursion to Fremantle. We were lucky enough to visit the Shipwreck Museum and the Round House. The students began their day learning about Willem de Vlamingh, joining his fleet as they learnt about the discovery of the ‘Southland’. Students experienced learning through dramatic play and museum exploration. We were also lucky enough to visit the Round House to fire the canon. We had a fabulous day learning all about some early journeys along our beautiful WA coastline.
